Application Methods

• Always read and follow label directions
• Keep ground-rig booms high enough to clear foliage and provide suitable coverage, but low enough to minimize the chance of drift
• Calibrate equipment to ensure precise application, sound stewardship and economical use of herbicide
• Maintain constant ground speed and sprayer pressure
• Apply an adequate total spray volume to ensure good coverage
• Foam markers or GPS guidance systems can help avoid skips or excessive overlaps
• Mature brush stands require aerial application

Most Corteva Agriscience Range & Pasture herbicides are labeled for broadcast applications. Visit the individual product page or consult the product specimen label for mixing and application instructions.

• Controlling light to moderate brush stands (<150 plants per acre)
• Treating small trees, vines, bushes with canes or stems, such as multiflora rose, or low-growing shrubs, such as buckbrush
• Stopping encroaching weeds and brush around pasture perimeters or scattered across grazing areas
• Clearing brush and/or weeds in fencelines

• Always read and follow label directions
• Apply directly to the target plant’s foliage
• Spray plants from all sides until wet
• Complete coverage is critical for success
• Delay treatment until brush is fully leafed out in the spring and actively growing
• Delay treatment after mowing or shredding for several weeks or even until the following season to allow adequate regrowth and improved herbicide uptake
• Treat when the plant is healthy (not stressed by drought or other conditions)
• To improve herbicide uptake, include 1 quart of surfactant per 100 gallons of spray mix

• Use Remedy® Ultra herbicide alone when woody species are your primary targets (see Tank-Mix Guide below).
• Tank-mix Remedy Ultra with GrazonNext® HL herbicide (see Tank-Mix Guide below) for broad-spectrum control of woody plants and broadleaf weeds, such as in fencelines or around buildings. Surmount™ hebicide alone gives you another option for broad-spectrum control of brush and broadleaf weeds.

• Use Chaparral™ herbicide when multiflora rose, locust, buckbrush or blackberry is your primary target
• Use Sendero® herbicide alone, or tank-mix with Remedy® Ultra or Tordon® 22K herbicide when mesquite is your primary target. See mesquite in Weed/Brush Identification for specific recommendations.

• Effective control of individual brush plants and small trees
• Use on species with trunks less than 6 inches in diameter at tree base
• Treating mild to moderate brush infestations in pastures
• Clearing fence lines
• Year-round treatment of woody species

• Always read and follow label directions
• Apply enough spray to wet the lower 15 to 20 inches of the trunk, including the root collar
• Do not spray to the point of runoff
• Treat any time of year, except when snow or water prevent spraying to the groundline

• Spray sides of stump, including any roots above the soil surface, and the outer portion of the cut surface, including the cambium ring along the inner bark
• Thoroughly wet the stem and root collar area, but not to the point of runoff
• Treat any time of year, as long as snow or water doesn’t prevent proper application

Remedy^® Ultra herbicide or PastureGard^® HL herbicide: Tank-mix with a commercial basal oil or other oil-based carrier (see mixing chart below).
