What vegetation manager doesn’t like to get more control while using less material? Well, that’s exactly what to expect when moving from industry mainstay Milestone® herbicide to TerraVue® herbicide.
TerraVue combines the active ingredient of Milestone — aminopyralid — with powerful new Rinskor® active. It results in a much broader spectrum on control — more than 140 species, or almost double the labeled species of Milestone. In addition, TerraVue alone is anticipated to control several woody plants and brush species on roadsides and in utility rights-of-way.
It also delivers better rates of control on many species. In trials conducted on roadsides and natural areas on six key weeds species — wild carrot, spotted knapweed, buckthorn plantain, Canada thistle, annual marshelder and poison hemlock — TerraVue significantly outperformed Milestone. The results showed a more than 20% increase in control across species — improving control from an average of 78% using Milestone at 7 ounces per acre (the maximum labeled rate) to 99% using TerraVue at only 2.85 ounces per acre.
