Corteva Agriscience has launched a social media campaign to ask for insights from #VegetationManagement professionals and highlight its new product, TerraVue herbicide.

After the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) unconditionally registered TerraVue herbicide for use during the 2020 season, the newest product from Corteva Agriscience was seamlessly integrated into a number of vegetation management programs across the country. Boasting flexible application methods and the industry’s most favorable environmental profile, TerraVue offers effective control of more than 140 broadleaf weeds and brush species on a variety of use sites, including natural areas, wildlife habitat and management areas, electric power and utility rights-of-way, roadsides and other noncrop environments. It can be used on grazed areas in and around these sites as well.

To boost awareness of the product’s efficacy, Corteva Agriscience has launched a Twitter campaign that invites professionals to share the biggest challenges they face in controlling incompatible plant species for a chance to win free gear from the company. For the opportunity to be randomly selected and receive 1 of 10 prizes that will be given away this October, vegetation managers, utility professionals and roadside managers are invited to complete three simple steps by Sept. 30:

  1. Log in to your personal Twitter account.
  2. Visit the @CortevaVegMgmt account page.
  3. Retweet a recent campaign update from @CortevaVegMgmt with #TerraVueWorksSweepstakes and a short message stating the biggest challenge you face in effectively controlling target plant species.

For more information on eligibility, submission guidelines, prizes and more, the campaign’s terms and conditions can be found online.
