Growers Invited to Join Free Webinars for the Enlist® Weed Control System Focusing on Efficacy

INDIANAPOLIS — A new series of free webinars about the Enlist® weed control system promises to help growers and applicators better prepare for the 2022 growing season.

As part of its commitment to ensuring optimum product efficacy and stewardship with the Enlist Ahead management resource, Corteva Agriscience will provide guidance on subjects ranging from nozzle selection to tank-mix recommendations to neighbor-friendly characteristics of Enlist herbicides.

The series of six A Step Ahead applicator training webinars will be offered once a month beginning Nov. 9, 2021, and running through March 29, 2022. Another three special sessions — scheduled for Oct. 28, 2021; Nov. 29, 2021; and Feb. 24, 2022 — will focus on the advantages the Enlist system offers over the in-crop dicamba system. Enlist system field specialists will lead the webinars, and each session will conclude with a live question-and-answer session.

“Growers and applicators interested in learning more about the Enlist system and how to achieve successful, on-target applications of Enlist herbicides will benefit greatly from these webinars,” says Eric Scherder, Ph.D., U.S. Crop Protection Commercial Launch Leader, Corteva Agriscience. “We have experienced massive growth of Enlist E3 soybean acres, and our Enlist system field specialists’ expert advice will help ensure growers planting Enlist E3 soybeans and Enlist cotton have a successful 2022 season.”

Continuing education credits (CEU) credits will be awarded to qualifying participants after completion of the applicator training sessions, which will cover:

  • How to achieve effective weed control on Enlist E3® soybean and Enlist® cotton acres
  • Tank-mixing with Enlist herbicides
