JOHNSTON, Iowa — Corteva Agriscience is proud to be a platinum sponsor of the Conservation in Action Tour held this week in central Iowa. The tour is organized by the Conservation Technology Information Center (CTIC), a national public-private partnership that envisions the widespread use of economically and environmentally beneficial agricultural systems.
“Corteva Agriscience is proud to collaborate with CTIC to support conservation efforts that provide educational resources on technologies and sustainable agricultural systems that conserve and enhance soil, water, air and wildlife resources and are productive and profitable,” said Jeremy Dirks, Corteva Agriscience Commercial Business Lead – Western Cornbelt.
The tour begins and ends in Des Moines, Iowa, and offers attendees the opportunity to explore a wide range of conservation farming practices. Participants will have the chance to see the installation of a wood chip bioreactor as well as investigate prairie strips, observe a cover crop interseeder demonstration and drive a sprayer in a simulator. The event allows growers and others to network and learn about conservation practices.
