New Nitrogen Stabilizer Protects UAN and Urea Above Ground

Corteva Agriscience has launched a new solution to protect your nitrogen investment in 2022. PinnitMax® TG nitrogen stabilizer is an above-ground product that protects urea and UAN applications. PinnitMax TG prevents volatilization for up to 14 days, which helps ensure nitrogen gets into the root zone to maximize your corn yield potential.
Protect Nitrogen Above Ground
“We’re excited to bring PinnitMax TG nitrogen stabilizer to market for a limited launch in the 2022 season. The new solution comes in a convenient solvent formulation, which is easy to handle,” says William Wynn, U.S. product manager, nitrogen stabilizers, Corteva Agriscience.
You have the option to use PinnitMax TG to protect your fall, spring or sidedress applications. The new product also will work with your existing nutrient management plans and is compatible with various fertilizer handling systems, blenders and impregnation devices. This offers you the flexibility to fit this solution to your operation. PinnitMax TG also provides an effective concentration of active ingredient, resulting in a use rate of 72 ounces per ton of urea and 36 ounces per ton of UAN.
Wynn adds: “PinnitMax TG nitrogen stabilizer offers other benefits like straightforward blending, free-flowing applications and easy cleanup, which speeds up labor and processing time to help optimize operations.”
You’ll be able to easily identify the distinctive blue color of PinnitMax TG, which is stain-free and easily washes out of machinery. The coloring also allows you to see that all your fertilizer is fully covered with the stabilizer.
