The registration of WideARmatch™ herbicide gives wheat growers a new tool in the fight against resistance management and offers extended control of the toughest broadleaf weeds, including kochia, marestail and Canada thistle.
WideARmatch combines two industry-leading actives — fluroxypyr and clopyralid — in one convenient premix formulation with Arylex™ active, the newest active ingredient in wheat weed control. And with a higher fluroxypyr load, wheat growers gain improved control of high-anxiety broadleaf weeds such as kochia, lambsquarters and pigweed.
The next generation of WideMatch® herbicide also enables farmers to advance their fight against resistance development. Two unique sites of action and an increased load of fluroxypyr help preserve the Weed Science Society of America’s Group 4 mode of action.
The superior formulation’s benefits extend further with a lower use rate that potentially reduces environmental impact by allowing growers to cover more acres per gallon, reducing waste and additional trips across the field. Field time optimization is amplified with a flexible application window that allows for weed control treatments to be made from the two-leaf growth stage of wheat to flag leaf emergence.
WideARmatch also is a highly customizable tank-mix partner with both broadleaf and grass herbicides, extending the spectrum of weed control in wheat.
